The method involves first identifying the contours of the flat forms in the painting. Then there are clues to be found in the logical structure of natural ojects in space. Tha pictorial space, of course, is not always completely true to that kind of natural order. But he next level may provide the key to which order there is. That level is the system in which the visible structures are organized, like composition scemes, way of arrangement etc.
